Sunday ~ a Hailey Day at the beach

We are spending the afternoon at dog beach at Huntington beach, Ca

There were already furiends in the water enjoying the fun!

We decided to try and find some sand crabs...... didn't have much luck though.
I don't like to get my tootsies wet so I thought I'd stand back a bit.
Well... just maybe a teensy bit wouldn't hurt.

I saw mom having fun and took a leap into the water....

This is Goldie. A new furiend. Her mom says she is a Vegas dog and is used to sitting by the pool and not the beach. I bet my furiends and I can get her to go and explore....

Mom said it look like I was a minion here. Not fair! I'm a Princess!

Fatboy ~ the fat cat

Ok. So we all know from a previous post entry, I am not the fondest of furry felines..... so my mom has to take the grandkids "back to school" shopping today and I cannot go. She said that she didn't want me staying home, but it would be great to go and visit my cuzins (cuz I don't like em) at their house. I guess I better mention that there are 6 - YES - you read correctly.... no vision problems here, don't need to adjust your screens for wider script.... I said she has SIX FURRY FELINES! I went over there...... thought maybe I could help out our buddy ARWEN and his Empty Bowl Syndrome - that's the least I could do since I was going to be stuck with them....... I did however report to Arwen that I wasn't very successful. They ATE MY FOOD!!!!! Then when I got home, not only did their mom leave my pink purse at her house, she left my favorite water bottle too! The thought of them drinking from water bottle!!! UGH!!!!! Then, they HAD THE NERVE TO EMAIL ME THE PICTURE BELOW!!!!!!! I am not quite sure what to make of it, but if you ask me, that 25 pound blub of a feline IS WEARING MY JACKET!!!!!! MOOOOOOOOOOOOM! How could he!!!! He's mocking me!!!!!! MOOOOOOOM!!!!! I need a therapist! Is there a doctor in the house??????? This isn't FUNNY?? Mom is laughing too........ piggy..... pink piggy where are you!!! GAWD there are the two little kids on moms lap!!!! I need therapy!!!!!!!!

A visit to a dog park Redondo Beach Ca

On the way to a family outing, we stopped at a dog park in Redondo Beach, California (about 30 miles away, a freeway and another county). As you know from reading some of my blogs, I do have some issues socializing and meeting people for the first time. However, at this dog park, which I may add, I have never visited before, was a whole different experience!

I wasn't hesitant at all about entering the big gate. I felt very comfortable entering this one! I might add that it is one of the largest ones I have visited so far!

I couldn't quite place it, but it was almost as if I had been there before. As soon as we got in the gate, I took off running around! Moi!!!!! Can you imagine the look on my parents faces? Priceless! I was happy!

From the minute I walked in, I felt like I owned the place! I was comfortable being there; I simply had no reservations about leaving my mom and dad behind to go venture a sniff or two or three. This rather cutie pooch "Vernon" befriended me. He also befriended my mom a little too much. Nope. That was off limits!!!!!

I met a lot of new pooches and walked up to people myself! Can you believe that? I actually walked up to people to meet and greet! Wow-wee who was this person inside me????

As we were leaving, I even found a familiar shadow there too!

I didn't want to leave there..... I had so much fun ~ I hope we get to go back there real soon!!!

Family day out to the car wash

This was a recent outing to the car wash. Not sure if I will be going on this outing again anytime soon.

Dad said the car was sooooo dirty we needed to give it a bath.
