My precious Hailey

Several years ago we wrote about Hailey's hospital visit and the recurrence of her illness.  Last Thursday, she fell ill again and has been deteriorating quickly. With the loss of her lower body muscles, continued fever, and significant decrease in appetite, it's quite obvious that overall she is far from being her happy, jovial self. It feels like I'm in a horrible nightmare and can't wake up.  You know.... the nightmare you're having that you're falling, but you suddenly wake up?  I've been dreading the final decision to let her to go to the Rainbow Bridge.

The vet is in agreement with me, as she has not improved, but seriously worsened since Sunday. I know the vet already foresaw this coming, but knew I needed to mentally grasp the decision on my own. I cannot  stop crying. My heart is heavily dispirited. Aching. Breaking. Shattering into a zillion teeny pieces. In my heart of hearts,  I know I need to be very unselfish and allow my baby to run free without any pain. I've prayed and prayed. I have asked God to please put my heart at ease, as I know this is what is best for my precious Hailey.  It breaks my heart to see her this way, but as some of us have faced before, we know when we arrive at this moment in time and we begin to question oneself with "is she better off going to the Rainbow Bridge?" Then we know what the decision is.

I will hold my precious baby girl in my arms. Comfort her. Tell her how very blessed I am to have been rescued by her. Thank her for all the unconditional love, hugs and kisses that she has always shown me. She was there for me both times I received my diagnoses. This will be a furever pain in my heart.  I am not looking forward to later this morning when we take the final ride together and I wish her lots of love as she approaches the Rainbow Bridge.

Please everone, let's all put our paws together and send many pawyer's  for Hailey to have a quick, happy and sunny bright welcome as she begins her journey over the Rainbow Bridge, later today.  

Just having to put all this into perspective, I know it's the best decision for her, although not for me.  Thank you each and every pedi and furbaby who befriended us through the blogging years. You have no idea how thankful I am knowing you will all be here with unconditional love and support.

Another new puppy to our family!!!!!!!!

An Easter bunny added to the basket!!!!     A new puppy to our pack!!!!!   My little nephew Mr. Eddie V has a new baby brudder and he is bigger than Eddie!!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy to announce that my ped sister had a puppy baby Friday, March 29, 2013!!!
His name is Brayden!!!!  He was 6lbs, 19 1/4" long (whew that's a big pupper!!!).  Mommy says he's a tiny bitty baby but I fail to agree with her.  I haven't gone to meet him but Mr. Eddie texted me all these purtiful pictures!  Mom was lucky because she was there when he was being born!!!



BTW!!!!  My mommy made Brayden's puppy baby blanket!

A start of a new year

Happy New Year!!

Last year was a pretty tough year for mommy: her sickies got a lot worse - March 2011, her biopsy showed her fatty liver disease turned into Cirrhosis of the Liver stage 4. The year before (4/10) she was stage 3 fatty liver disease. She worked really hard in 2010 to get as healthy as possible. We all had helped too!  We went for alot of walkies and mommie lost lots of weight.  Her doctor was very pleased with her results.  He had even told us we could keep our liver about 10 years. So when we found out that was not true anymore, her doctor had lots more test done to see why we went to stage 4.  After a while, they told her she had a genetic disorder called  Alpha-1. They said she had pretty much lost 10 years of her life!  Geezers! I am sure glad hooman years are not like dog years! So mommy now has to be really careful of what she eats and things she does.  She seems to always be happy and smiling, but Lala and I sleep with her and we really know her the bestest.  She is always in pain and not feeling well.  She never complains though. So me and Lala make sure we are always by her side keeping her happy.  I just wish she wouldn't work soooo much.  But she says that if we want our snackies, then she has to go to work.  So we make sure she goes everyday!  Except for yesterday and today.  We are taking care of her because she is not feeling well and the doctor said she couldn't go to work for two days.

Our Auntie Sylv (the one with lung cancer) was diagnosed in September with that ugly C monster in her thinking cap.  She went over the rainbow on November 16th.  Mommy was very, very sad.  we were worried about her because she didn't cry like she usually does when doggies go over the rainbow.  But she said it is because we are strong in our walk with God and it's ok for auntie S to be in heaven now.  But I hear her late at night.  I just snuggle up to her and let her know how much I love her. 

So, you see why I just didn't have the heart to pester her as often enough to catch up on my blogging.  This year, I KNOW it's going to be a fantastic year not just because of blogging, but mom really needs to get it together and focus on moi! OOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!! We got Mommy a new laptop computer with lotts of brains in it and it is super fast!  She was so impressed with our gift she has been working on it the past few days to get it all set up.  NOW there is no excuse for her not doing her Mommy duties efficiently!!

And guess what!!! Remember last christmas 2010 we introduced our newest little puppy to the family??? Well she is now walking, says a few words like stop, kitty, doggie and daddy.  She just turned 7!!!  Oh ok..... 1 year.

Hi efurryone!!!! It's me, Lollie!! I'm gonna quickly post this before Hailey catches me, seeing as how this is "her" block. Yea right! Who's picture is up first on the website!!! Need I say more......

Just have to share with you about our mommy walk, she calls it our dog walk, but we know better that if she doesn't get out there and walk..... Thunder thighs!!!! OMD! I crack myself up sometimes!!! Anywho.... I got into my first dog fight! This was another crazy female that had not had her morning protein!!! She was crabby and was so upset because I was walking on her sidewalk.... Her walker was ruuuuuuude as well!

But I showed her who's the boss around here! My mom pulled me away and it's a good thing she did because that "huge" rude dog would have been hiiiissssttttooorrrry!! Mom didnt have her flashy box....... Geeeeezers! Where' the pupparazzi when you need them.

Saturday Morning Blog Hop!

Good morning my 4 legged peeps!  Yup!  I know it's hard to believe that the bi-ped human of a secretary "actually" got her hiney out of bed to work!  Let alone for moi! Then, she couldn't even post bcuz she decided that she needed more beauty sleep!   But - I gotta admit, beauty sleep sure did sound wonderful....   needless to say, I zonked out too!  So my ever beloved Lala (bless her tiny little pawsies) captured me attempting to do my own post!
Good little help is always welcomed!

Update:  Mom is doing great so far!  She finally had knee surgery - ya think she would have utilized the time to catch up on my blogging while she was O U T of commission, but No....... she, as always, thinks of herself........  now she is back to work hopping around.  TEEE HEEEEEE - no correlation to Saturday Blog Hop!
We've missed everyone and need to do a lot of catching up on the gossip around town!
 Please do bring Lala and I up to speed!!

Happy ME 4th Gotcha day!!!!!

I can't believe that it's my "4th" Gotcha Day!!!!  Yes.  That officially now makes me 6 years young and loving it!  I won't make excuses for not posting this yesterday, but you know how it is when good quality help it hard to find.  In my case, it's been quite obvious!  But I love my mom -  I am so glad she took a chance on me 4 years ago.  would have it no other way! I am also very thankful for little Miss Lala.  She is sooooo cute and has really grown on me through the months.  She is fun to be around now..... she's grown up a bit. 

Since I missed my 100th post, and almost my gotcha day!  I am donating $1.00 for each furry and non furry friends that drop by within the next 72 hours and shares the love. Money will be donated to the precious people (Love you Nancy 1&2) Perfect Pet Rescue in Los Angeles, Ca.  This is the place that saved my life and found me my mom.  This is also the place that my brother Dylan came from.  Be sure to spread the word to everyone so that they drop in and we raise lots and lots of love!

Mom has been pretty busy with the new puppy - she is already 2 months!  She is now smiling and gurgling.  She tells me lots of stories!  She is so fun to be around.  Last month her mommy got sick and had to go back to the hospital. Guess who was puppy sitting for a long time!?!?!   You got it! ME!!!!!  Mom has not had any time to use the flashy box on us....... I guess that's a good thing... sometimes... but not in this case. I will get mom to step up her beat and use the flashy box ( I can't believe I said that twice already) and start posting again!!!!!

Last week it was soooooooo cold and windy, mom decided to torture us and take us to the beach.  Can you believe her??????? But that's her favorite place to be alll year round! We had a great time (I hate sand).  This was Lollies first time at the beach.  She loved it!!!

Our puppy finally arrived!

Happy New Year!  We hope efurryone's holiday's were full of good cheer and that this year brings us an abundant amount of snackies!!!!!!  Oh!  You're wondering whats all the whisper about the arrival of our new puppy?!  Well let me take you a ways back to last summer.  Remember when I did a blog in July about my "niece" Lala having to come stay with us for awhile, then she got to live her permanently (this is why I now call her my sister.  Even though she is technically my niece, we are so close to eachother that we act more like sister's).  Then she told us why her name was changed from Bella to Lala..... Lala-Bella........ Bella-Lala....?!  All the changes are a result of our upcoming arrival of our little puppy. 

Well, our little puppy finally arrived!!!!  Are you ready to see how adorably cute she is?   I am so thrilled that she looks a lot like me!!!! I'm a proud Auntie!  Ready to see some of the picks we took when our puppy arrived?!?!?

Isn't she just a precious little angel?!?!  Do you see the resemplance between her and I?!  We both like to nappy with our hand near our face! Can you imagine that!!!!!!

 When she arrived, we were so excited to meet our little puppy that Lala brought her toy to her.  I had to expalin to Lala that our puppy can't walk and play just yet. Nor could she talk - she only cries and eats and poo's.

We were even double-triple sure that this puppy resembles

me in more that just our physical beauty - but in our likes & dislikes as well!

Our little puppy really hates doesn't like taking baths either!

Except she let out a loud scream and told us!

Bath time was sooooo exhausting for all of us that we just snuggled up together and took a nappie!!!! Except I couldn't concentrate on sleeping because afterall, I do have a big responsibility now!  I kept watch while the two little ones snoozed.

OMD!!!! It's prezzie time!

Ho Ho Ho efurybody!!!!!! We participated in Jazzy's Gift Exchange this year and boy was it every exciting!!!   We must say that our mom, although we love her dearly from here to infinity and beyond, was pretty slow at mailing our prezzie's to Minnie, who Lala had, and Minna Krebs, who I had.  BUTT there we was patiently waiting......  becuz our prezzies from Buttons, who had me,  and Carmen , who had Lala, came RIGHT ON TIME just as the game instructions were posted!  They are both soooo lucky their Mom knows HOW TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!!!!!!  It doesn't matter that our Mom works way too many hours and has been helping our human sister (whose gonna have a puppy any day!). We wrote a letter to Santa and asked him to slow her down!!! We hope he send a reply soon!!

So we kept looking out the window to see if Mr Postman was coming and finally a knock on the front door.

Mr Postperson brought our prezzies..... but Mom would not let us open them until both Minnie & Minna Krebs were in the mail.  She said it was only fair.  We don't want to be cheesy, but we really had to wait and wait and wait. And then finally it was our time to investigate!!!

 Of course, I got to go first, being the oldest and all...... my little nephew Eddie, was also investigating with Lala too.

 Something smells really DELICIOUS in here!!!!! I wonder what it can be?

   OMD!!!!!! Button's is one smart cookie!!!!!! I got ALL MY FAV's!!!!!!!  Bil Jac Liver Treats!!!! I LOOOOOOOOVVE them! and then a bag of Dentley's Chicken Dumbbells (really! how did Button's know this one too!!!!!) Hmmmmmm.... I wonder if Button's called the Psychic Hotline????

and the bestest of all is my beautiful chic Leopard Slipper!!! It's a squeaker!!!!!! 

And give me one good reason why I should have to share my prezzies with Lala & Eddie.  The box was ADDRESSED TO ME!!!!!  No, that's not me growling at them.......  teee-heeee.

They just better stay away cuz this gal is NOT sharing!!!

And now it was Lala's turn. She sniffed & sniffed.... taking her sweet time!

Gosh. Alrighty then.... hurry up!!! What did we you get Lala?

Oh yea!!!!!!!  More squeakers for Moi Lala!!!  A gingerbread man, a pinky purdy ball, a purple bone, a pink football, a lamb soft baby and a plumpy pink ball!!!!! Woooooo hooooo!
