On the way to a family outing, we stopped at a dog park in Redondo Beach, California (about 30 miles away, a freeway and another county). As you know from reading some of my blogs, I do have some issues socializing and meeting people for the first time. However, at this dog park, which I may add, I have never visited before, was a whole different experience!
I wasn't hesitant at all about entering the big gate. I felt very comfortable entering this one! I might add that it is one of the largest ones I have visited so far!
I couldn't quite place it, but it was almost as if I had been there before. As soon as we got in the gate, I took off running around! Moi!!!!! Can you imagine the look on my parents faces? Priceless! I was happy!
I didn't want to leave there..... I had so much fun ~ I hope we get to go back there real soon!!!
From the minute I walked in, I felt like I owned the place! I was comfortable being there; I simply had no reservations about leaving my mom and dad behind to go venture a sniff or two or three. This rather cutie pooch "Vernon" befriended me. He also befriended my mom a little too much. Nope. That was off limits!!!!!
I met a lot of new pooches and walked up to people myself! Can you believe that? I actually walked up to people to meet and greet! Wow-wee who was this person inside me???? I didn't want to leave there..... I had so much fun ~ I hope we get to go back there real soon!!!
With much love, hugs and smooches XOXOXO
